![]() Do you have questions about Norwegian aviation history - or perhaps you need a photograph? Please keep in mind that the Norwegian Aviation Museum is more than what you see at the exhibitions! The museum also keeps a collection of books, periodicals, archive material, and a separate photo section. In case you know of objects, photographs or other material that you believe to be in the right place at the museum, we would appreciate hearing from you! The Library The Museums Library is a special library dedicated to aviation history, both military and civilian. The library have books, periodicals and other publications about Norwegian and international aviation. It has been built up around dated literature which has been donated to the museum. The collection is supplemented yearly by the acquisition of new literature. The Library covers most of air travel history including aerodynamics, navigation, modern military history, political history and air traffic control. It have complete years of the most important aviation publications and a large collection of official publications. Searh in the library catalogue of the museum (in Norwegian) Archive The archive contains archive material which tells about the objects of the museum, and about Norwegian aviation history in general. Photographs The Museum collects, registers and safeguards photographic material for the future.
