NORSK AEROCLUB

"As soon as you have experienced the free flight of birds, you will wander the Earth with your eyes facing upwards - because you have been there, and you will long to return ...."

Norsk Aero Klubb is a national association of aeronautical and air sports clubs. Since 1909 the NAK has been working to promote interest in aviation and air sports in Norway. The Norsk Aero Klubb is a member of FAI - Federation Aeronautique Internationale. The Norwegian Air Sports Assoc. (Norges Luftsportsforbund) is a section of NAK affiliated to the Norwegian Sports Federation (Norges Idrettsforbund) and includes hang gliding, paragliding, gliding and parachute jumping.

In order to practice air sports or flying, you must enrol for membership and complete an authorised training course at one of NAK's 275 clubs. You need not worry about getting hold of the necessary equipment as this is available for loan or hire at the clubs. As an experienced pilot or air sportsman you can take part in a variety of competitions within the various disciplines both at home and abroad .

Call the NAK secretariat in Oslo, tel. (+47) 22 69 03 11 for details of the nearest club. Here is the link to >>>NAK's
