The annual conference for the aviation museums and enthusiasts in Scandinavia

Norsk Luftfartsmuseum has for several years organized an annual conference in Bodoe. The purpose of the conference is to provide a gathering of the Norwegian aviation museums and aviation historical groups and associations. The conference is a professional and social meeting place of the different restoration crews, educational professionals, historians and all other with an interest in aviation history. In our experience this has been greatly appreciated by all participants at the conferences.

In order to provide an opportunity for an even wider participation, this years conference is taking place at the Norwegian Armed forces Aviation Collection at Gardermoen outside Oslo. We are grateful for the opportunity to organize this in cooperation with the Defence Museum/Air Force Museum and the Military Historical Association Of Eastern Norway.
 

We wish you all welcome to a get-together at the Aviation Collection Thursday February 9^th, at 19.00 Hours.
The conference starts Friday 10^th at 09.00 (registration from 08.00) and ends with an Open House at the Aviation Collection Saturday from 13.30 onwards. 

The following exciting topics will be covered (ask us for the detailed programme):

- Archives and the written sources of aviation history
- Norwegian Aviation Historical Magazine
- Around the country: What’s happening in the groups an at the museums?

On Friday there will be a guided tour of the SAS Museum, conference dinner at Norlandia Hotel and the awarding of the prestigious prize for the Enthusiast of the Year 2005. 

There will be a range of interesting presentations within each topic, in addition to ample time for discussions and informal conversations. So please join us at the aviation conference and meet all your fellow aviation enthusiasts!
